Storm Creek LLC operates stormcreek.org and runs classes and events at 2235 Gunn Poole Rd, Mebane, North Carolina. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it.
When you contact us or sign up for a class. Your name, email address, and phone number if you give it to us. If a class requires a liability waiver, we collect what that waiver asks for, including the name of the participant and a parent or guardian signature where the participant is a minor.
When you visit the site. Our hosting provider records ordinary web server information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. We do not use this to identify individual people.
We use your contact details to answer you, to confirm details of a class you signed up for, and to tell you about future Storm Creek classes and events. That is the only mailing we do.
We keep waivers as our record that a participant agreed to the terms of a class.
We photograph and film our classes. Our liability waiver states that images may be used to advertise Storm Creek, and that extreme close-up frontal facial angles and names will not be published without prior approval. We hold to that. If you appear in something we have published and you want it removed, email us and we will take it down.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share information only where we have to — for example with an instructor teaching a class you registered for, or where the law requires it.
Class registration for some events is handled by the instructor's own booking system, which collects and holds that information under its own privacy policy, not ours. We publish videos on Facebook and YouTube, which collect their own data from viewers under their own policies.
Our classes are for families and many participants are minors. A parent or guardian signs for them. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child except through a parent or guardian.
Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe path, and asking us directly works just as well.
